CRAFT(iest) in the Park(hurst)

"CRAFT IS A NOTION as old as cooking itself. A dream pushed by people who set upon a lifestyle of creating things. Things handmade, Through Craftsmen's skill, Pride, and a bit of themselves thrown in for good measure. Things made with love rather than measurement, with care rather than science. Food made with honest ingredients from Hand-written recipes, passed down from generation to generation, enjoyed with nostalgia and shared by family, friends, and friends you're yet to meet." This is the motto of CRAFT and the saying they abide by.

In the hustle and bustle in the streets of Parkhurst is a restaurant that serves all things craft. from craft beer to craft feeds and even craft liqueurs and aperitifs. CRAFT has been open since late 2013 in the height of the Craft beer and food revolution. People will no longer stand for a mass produced standard food as well as commercial and seemingly impassioned style of beer. Thus a restaurant like CRAFT is a saviour. They showcase and provide their customers with beautiful craft beers from around the country, both on tap and bottled , but the on tap beers vary and the waitrons will tell you, and their chefs make sure your bellies are filled with some of the most delicious food I have ever had. With a wide selection of meals that range from pub classics that have been zooshed up and modernised, to really delectable modern dishes with intricate flavors that take you on a journey. This food coupled with the craft drinks, especially the beer, is my new found haven. CRAFT is officially my new favourite restaurant and would go there in  a heartbeat if I had the chance. There is also a fantastic atmosphere in the restaurant with a slight industrial and rustic feel ,due to the gorgeous copper-clad pizza oven and bar, but very modern and trendy and could imagine that sitting on the side-walk in bustling Parkhurst sharing beers with friends in summer would be no better anywhere else other than at CRAFT.

What really impressed me about CRAFT, was how much the waiters actually knew about the craft beers and that they were able to suggest beers based on the tastes and characteristics of the previous beers we had consumed. They are extremely friendly and very attentive to your needs and also the beers your like. The only downfall is that you cannot book for seats. So if you are going in smaller groups you can get a seat at the bar or find one at a table but if you are going in a bigger group you must ensure you get there early enough to get a big table. I would honestly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone I know. This restaurant is for me by far the best I have been to and from me gets a 4.5 out of 5 beers.
